Tuesday June 29th is World Industrial Design Day 2010. To celebrate this special day Flanders InShape, the two Flemish university colleges for design and the Society of Flemish Designers invite Prof. Dr. Peter Zec
to give a lecture on Design Value. He will highlight the value of design as a strategic business tool for economic growth and added value. Because good design means good business!
Dr. Zec was head of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid) for eight years; initiator of the Red Dot Award and author
of many publications, among which his most recent book 'Design Value – A strategy for business success' (2010). Peter Zec is one of the most influential experts in the field of industrial design.
Dinsdag 29 juni is wereldwijd uitgeroepen tot World Industrial Design Day 2010. Daarom nodigt Flanders InShape samen met twee Vlaamse ontwerphogescholen én de Vereniging van de Vlaamse Ontwerpers Professor Dr. Peter Zec uit die een lezing geeft over de meerwaarde van design en de tools om design value te berekenen; want good design is good business!
Peter Zec was acht jaar hoofd van het International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID), initiator van de Red Dot Award, auteur van vele publicaties, waaronder het nieuwe Design Value – A Strategy for Business Success (2010) en een van de meest invloedrijke experten op vlak van industrieel design.
